Our Billing staff is here to serve Concho County and surrounding counties with the most professional and timely billing practices. We have combined experience of over 30 years in financial services.
For outpatient services such as Lab, Radiology, and Emergency Room visits patients are expected to bring their Insurance Cards for every visit.
We expect to file your bill within 7 days from the date of service. Concho County Hospital has been recognized by the National Rural Health Association in 2012 and 2013 for outstanding financial stability based on the percentile rank on a set of balance sheet and income statement financial ratios.
As a courtesy to our patients, we will bill up to three insurances: primary, secondary, and any third insurance. Patients are ultimately responsible for any co-pays, deductibles, and patient share owed to the hospital. Insurances are obligated to pay or deny claims within 30-45 days of timely filing. Some cases vary, however and result in a delay of payment. To check the status of your claim with the hospital, please do not hesitate to call our office and one of our staff will kindly assist you with your needs.
- Businesses who pay medical claims on behalf of their employees receive a 50% discount on bills paid within 30 days from the date of your FIRST statement.
- Patients seen in the Emergency Room who do not have Insurance will receive a 50% discount if they pay their bill in full within 14 days from the date of their statement.
- Unpaid balances exceeding 90 days or 3 statements from Concho County Hospital will be turned over to a collection agency.
We gladly accept the following forms of payment:
