Concho County Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) providing care to our region for over 50 years. To be designated a CAH, a rural hospital must meet defined criteria that were outlined in the Conditions of Participation 42CFR485 and subsequent legislative refinements to the program through the BBRA, BIPA, the Medicare Modernization Act, the MIPPA, and the PPACA.
Our last Medicare survey was performed in 2012 and we are pleased to report Zero deficiencies were discovered.
We are excited about serving the needs of the community in this manner by saving lives and stabilizing patients before transport when necessary. We also provide inpatient and skilled nursing services for our community. Our outpatient services include Observation, Treatment Room, Lab, Radiology, and Computerized Tomography (CT).
